Antoni Wolak was born in Biadoliny, near
Tarnow, Poland, and started his literary
career by writing book reviews,
articles, and literary and art criticism
in local newspapers and magazines.

He came to Canada in 1983 and in 1986
settled in Calgary, Alberta, where he
continues to write. His poems and
articles are being published by the
monthly magazines High Park, Śląsk and
Pogranicza.
